Centre for Trades Education

School of Trades & Technology 2021 Awards

Determined. Creative. Excellence. Positive “give it all” attitudes are how Camosun’s instructors describe this year’s award-winning School of Trades and Technology students.

This year, the college’s School of Trades and Technology celebrated the outstanding accomplishments of over 140 students and apprentices with individual awards provided through the generosity of community donors.

“I wish each of the award recipients every success in their future careers,” says Sherri Bell President of Camosun. “These awards recognize your exceptional achievements. Your education and skills will benefit not only yourselves but also your family, community while helping to strengthen our economy and society.”

From welding to carpentry to mechanical engineering technology, the School serves over 3,000 students in more than 30 different trades and technology programs each year, who come to Camosun to develop technical skills and knowledge to help them achieve their dreams.

“It’s my pleasure to congratulate this year’s award recipients on their accomplishments and to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to our generous donors who help to make these awards a reality," says Eric Sehn, Dean, School of Trades and Technology. “Unfortunately, we cannot gather physically to celebrate your success, but that takes nothing away from the sense of pride you can feel for your hard work and accomplishments. We are proud of what you've done and how you have responded to these challenging circumstances.”

Congratulations to all T&T award recipients

Thank you to all donors who so generously support Camosun students
